Quality Objectives for ISO 9001 : 2000 Status

To reduce infant mortality rate from 38.91 (SCD – 2005) to 25 by March 2010-11.

To reduce maternal mortality rate from 135 (SRS 1998) to less than 110 by March 2010-11.

To improve full ANC coverage (Fully Protected Mothers) from 54.4 % (RHS 98 ) to 90 % by March 2010-11.

To improve coverage of fully immunized children from 73 % (MIP validation ) to 90 % by March 2009.

To improve coverage of institutional deliveries 47.7 % (HMIS 06) to 93 % by March 2010-11, including deliveries in accredited private maternity hospitals.

To spend 100 % grants on all schemes by March 2010-11.

To make round the clock availability of Medical Officers, health workers and drugs at PHCs by March 2010-11

To improve contraceptive prevalence rate from 60 % up to 63 % by March 2010-11.

To improve quality, coverage & effectiveness of existing FW, RCH – II & NRHM services by March 2010-11

To achieve & maintain cure rate of at least 85 % among newly detected sputum positive patients of tuberculosis by March 2010-11

To reduce prevalence of leprosy from present level of 0.58 to 0.45 per 10,000 population by March 2010-11.

To reduce prevalence of blindness from 0.95 % to 0.90 % by March 2010-11.

To make existing 23, 24 X 7 Pattern Primary Health Centers really operational on 24 X 7 basis for BEmOC ( Basic Emergency Obstetrics Care) and essential Pediatric and Neonatal Care services by March 2010-11.
